About Adobe Premiere Pro

Premiere Pro is a non-linear editor built for long-form and broadcast work: nested sequences, multicam, proxy workflows for editing 4K and above on modest hardware, and a Lumetri colour pipeline with scopes. It reads a very wide range of camera formats natively, which is usually what decides an editor in a mixed-footage production.

Its real advantage is the surrounding ecosystem — Dynamic Link hands a sequence to After Effects without rendering, Audition takes the audio, and Speech to Text produces captions inside the timeline.

Licence status: Premiere Pro is commercial software sold by subscription. It is not free. Adobe provides a time-limited free trial. Downloads and licences come from Adobe; this catalog only links to them.
