Privacy Policy

You can browse the entire catalog, download any program, and rate programs without registering. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail to use the site.

This applies only to the programs we host ourselves. When you click Get from official site you are simply following a link, and nothing is recorded here at all.

When you download a package we host, we store one row containing:

• which program was downloaded;
• the timestamp;
• a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address — not the address itself, and not reversible without the server-side salt;
• your browser's user-agent string;
• whether the request came from the website or the desktop Launcher.

This exists for two reasons: to count downloads honestly, and to stop the same visitor from inflating a counter by repeatedly clicking. Repeat downloads from the same hashed visitor within a short window are recorded but not double-counted.

A rating stores the program, your score from 1 to 5, and the same salted IP hash. The hash is what makes one-vote-per-visitor possible — voting again updates your existing score rather than adding a new one. We do not store review text.

The public site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie we ever set is an httpOnly session cookie created when an administrator logs into the admin panel. It is SameSite-restricted, marked Secure over HTTPS, and is deleted on logout.

There is no Google Analytics, no advertising network, no social media pixel, and no third-party JavaScript on this site.

Program logos are stored on this server rather than hot-linked, so simply viewing a page does not tell any vendor that you looked at it. Most programs, however, are downloaded from the developer's own site: following Get from official site takes you there, and from that point their privacy policy applies. We add nofollow and noreferrer to those links.

The Launcher talks to this site's public API to list programs and to fetch the packages we host. It sends no telemetry, no usage analytics, and no identifying information beyond the normal HTTP request that any download requires. It does not install or run anything without you clicking, and it does not add itself to Windows startup. Its full source code ships with the project so you can verify that.

Download and rating rows are kept for as long as the program is listed, because they are the counters shown on the page. Admin session records expire automatically and are removed on logout.

Because we store no identifying data, we generally cannot locate “your” records to export or delete them — there is nothing linking a hash back to you without your IP address and our salt. If you have a specific concern, write to us via the contact page and we will explain exactly what exists.
