About OBS Studio
OBS Studio is the standard tool for live streaming and screen recording, and it is free software with no tiers, watermarks or account. You build scenes from sources — display and window capture, game capture, cameras, browser pages, images, text, audio devices — and switch between them live with transitions.
The audio mixer handles per-source volume, monitoring and filters (noise suppression, gate, compressor), and every source can be filtered and composited. Output goes to any RTMP, SRT or WHIP destination, or straight to disk in MP4, MKV or MOV with hardware encoding via NVENC, AMF or QuickSync.
Because it is GPL-licensed, a copy can legitimately be hosted and distributed by third parties — including this catalog, once the operator uploads a verified package.
